Pictures of inspiration

After traipsing around the insipid streets of Sheffield I was highly inspired by its mundane and wishy washy attitude towards life. Tourists fill the streets in vain hope they'll see something "British" and "outstanding" yet all I see are drunken middle aged men looking for a fuck. The cobbled streets although are fantastic so I concentrated every last effort onto finding the inspiration I needed in them, sadly I could not.

Again, in hope to find something awakening which would arrouse my impulse to write I intruded into a somewhat magical pub. Alhough men again walked around with broad Yorkshire accents disrespecting anything of the oposite gender, I did disguise the feminist in me. The atmosphere was grimey yet welcoming.

Here are the pictures I snapped.

7:56PM - My infaxuation with contrasting lifestyles and images again brought me to take a picture that would of better be left unsaid. The rotting paint and dirt covered floor around the toilet is a high contrast to the squeeky clean bleached toilet seat and lid. I am glad they take interest in the germs that could infect your skin.

2:29PM - The mens toilet was outside. The fantastic Roman colours of white and red made me think of the warrior Yorkshire men battling it out to get the best cubicle.

3:43PM - The lights refraction is always something that has compelled me to look further. A man could be brutally murdered past the window but all your mind would be realising is the fraction of light and the sheer fantastic cut of the glass.

9:26PM - On the way back to the interval a very interesting, layered sort of gemtleman offered that I took his picture for change. I accepted the offer in vain hope that he wouldn't go to the local dealer again and jack himself up with laced heroin.

  1. Where did you find the drunk? You should have taken a picture of the preacher women that would have helped. I refuse to into pubs, they do nothing for me, I of couse love the picture the lonely thachted cottage pub at the end of the road place, but not this grimey establishments in citys, the give a bad name to our famous public establisents.
