It’s rather thought provoking how two images, although one filled with disease and ridicule and the other simply fabric can contrast yet compare in a simple pixelated image.

My first shot, although salmonella filled, interested me. The rotten chicken, morphed my vision as it was surrounded in cloudy water. This gives the eye a reason to look further and discover the real rancid truth below the murky depths.

My second image, although completely different to the first brought the same metaphor to my head. The layers still cloud my view, although beneath the sweet smelling fabric there could be bed bugs and decayed frays. The ugly truth seems to be hidden through one way or another. Both images corrupt my sight and make me continue to look further into the truth, which may (as I believe) not be what I want to see/hear.
